Wibbly-Wobbly

🐇 Catch the Hare (if you can)

The Wibbly Wobbly features a live hare, who sets off about 10 minutes before the pack. The mission is simple:
catch the hare before they make it back!

The trail is marked with blobs of flour, guiding the way through the route.

When the nights draw in and the temperature drops, we switch things up with our Wednesday Winchester Wibbly Wobbly Hash—held every other Wednesday during the winter months.

This is a simpUnlike the traditional hash:

  • ❌ No false trails
  • ❌ No fish hooks
  • ❌ No complex markings
  • ✔ Just a clearly marked trail with simple circular checks

In short: less confusion, more running (and a bit of hunting).ler, slightly more energetic twist on the traditional hash… with a bit of a chase thrown in for good measure.

🧭 How It Works

  • The trail is straightforward and easy to follow
  • Check points are included, where faster runners pause and search—giving everyone a chance to regroup
  • A back runner ensures no one gets left behind
  • Full instructions are given before the start (so no excuses!)

🏃 Shorter, Sharper, Winter-Friendly

Wibbly Wobbly runs are shorter than our regular hashes, designed for darker winter evenings—so you’ll still get your fix without turning into a human icicle.
